Hello, and welcome! I’m Ayana, Registered Dietitian, Social Worker, Nutrition Therapist and Owner of Truly Real Nutrition.
I founded Truly Real Nutrition because I identified a need for you (the beautifully and wonderfully made person that you are) to not only learn to eat better by listening to your body but to also acknowledge and honor the role that your environments, traditions, and experiences play in the food choices you make. There are many factors to consider when it comes to understanding eating behavior, but they aren't always apparent. Plus, it’s easy to get lost under the influence of diet culture, childhood food rules, and robust misinformation regarding nutrition and wellness. Luckily, we’ve found each other and we’ll explore this together.
